Rock Band Drumming Noobs - Learn to Hold Drumsticks
Rock Band players without a drumming background may not know there are three “right ways” to hold drumsticks.
Now that you know … learn them. They all have tradeoffs and one may work better than others, but all give better control and use less energy than gripping the sticks like hammers and pounding away. Use these and your drumming will get better faster.

wow guys this is not the right way to hold a drumstick you need to wrap your index finger around the stick not tight though. and make sure the gap between your thumb and index finger is closed THAT is the right way to hold a stick.
